Tim Matney is a Digital Matte Painter and veteran Visual Effects Artist, whose work has appeared in many feature films, TV shows, commercials, and games. He began his career as a 3D Generalist in computer games, then transitioned to feature films, where he discovered Matte Painting and his affinity for it. He found his skills as a CG Generalist, eye for color and detail, and ability to paint/manipulate in Photoshop made for a natural progression into Digital Matte Painting.
