Deborah Tannen

Deborah Tannen, a professor of linguistics at Georgetown University, is the author of You Just Don't Understand which was on The New York Times bestseller list for nearly four years. Tannen is a frequent guest on television and radio shows, including The Colbert Report, Nightline, PBS NewsHour, Morning Edition, All Things Considered and The Diane Rehm Show. She has written for and been featured in most major magazines and newspapers including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and Newsweek.

Dr. Ruth Westheimer

Dr. Ruth Westheimer may best be known for having pioneered talking explicitly about sex on radio and television, but that is only a small part of her rich and diversified life. She was an Israeli Freedom Fighter, studied at the New School for Social Research and obtained her Doctorate of Education from Columbia University. She has taught at Princeton and Yale and is the author of 38 books. In addition, Dr. Ruth has produced five documentaries and the one-woman show centered on her extraordinary life, Becoming Dr. Ruth, has played in the Berkshires, Hartford, Off-Broadway and continues to tour.
