Matt Lieberman

Matt Lieberman is an actor, writer, producer, and host, working currently for Discovery Digital Networks. Originally from New Jersey, Matt received a BA in Directing Narrative Fiction from Emerson College in Boston, MA in 2010. He was then hired out of school to develop unscripted series for FremantleMedia in Los Angeles. He studied improv at UCB and sketch at the Pack Theater, before becoming a founding member of the iO West sketch team DJ Faucet. As a member of DJ Faucet, Matt helped produce a pilot for Funny Or Die Test Tube, and performed sold out shows at the San Francisco SketchFest, Chicago SketchFest, Austin SketchFest, the Kirk Douglas Theater, and the Comedy Central Stage.

Since joining Discovery Digital Networks in 2014, Matt has written, produced, and appeared in videos for their channels Sourcefed, SourcefedNERD, DNews, TestTube, Seeker, and sketch comedy channel Nuclear Family. He’s also worked freelance for DEFY Media and DC Comics. Matt’s videos have over 500 million cumulative views on Youtube and Facebook, and he is an approved director of live shows for the Pack Theater.
