What you'll learn in this legal course:

A Notary Signing Agent is a notary public who has specialized expertise in the handling of mortgage loan documents. With the housing market on the rebound, this will be an in-demand service for notary publics!

Currently, Notary Signing Agents can make anywhere from $80-$150 per loan package. In this six-hour seminar, explore the types of real estate sales and loans currently on the market, and receive hands-on instruction in the main documents a Notary Signing Agent will notarize.

You’ll assemble a practice loan package and examine the ethical and administrative role of the notary and the notary’s sense of duty associated with being a Notary Signing Agent. Finally, learn about marketing and customer service, with practical information on how to start your new business – complete with a list of potential sources!

Prerequisite: Current notary public commission or successful completion of six hours of notary education.

I was extremely happy that the class was smaller that the Notary Public, as we got to ask more questions and get a better understanding of what a Notary Signing Agent is expected to do. And I'm also happy that the teacher was the same so the information felt it connected.
