Launch your career as a Phlebotomy Technician, collecting blood samples from patients in a hospital, clinical laboratory, medical office, or clinic. Through lectures and hands-on training, learn what you need to know about the circulatory system, venipuncture technique and specimen collection, risk factors and complications, and quality assurance.
Course will meet in-person with no more than 10 students at AUMT’s campus in Gardena for all lectures and hands-on training. You must have a computer, good working internet, and a working email. Once you have registered/paid for the program, send an email to [email protected] to receive details on next steps to take
Prerequisite: You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
IMPORTANT:For campus/in-person classes, vaccination proof and masking in classrooms is required for adult and kid students and staff.
