What you'll learn in this digital marketing course:

Due to the current health concerns, all GA short-form events, workshops & bootcamps will temporarily be held online - including this one.

Registered students will be notified 24 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and other tools you'll need for the session. Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

The digital landscape is moving at lightning speed. Every industry has been affected by the advances in digital—from retail to brands and agencies. Has your manager recently assigned a digital marketing role to you? Are you a project or account manager at a creative agency? Do you work for a small company or a start-up, and handle all things digital on your own? Then this bootcamp may be just what you need! Specifically created for participants and professionals interested in gaining a deeper understanding of everything digital marketing can encompass.

This activity-driven class will equip you with tips and strategies on how to devise your brand and marketing strategy, what digital channels are available to you and how to use them, and how to track and analyze all of your marketing efforts with data-driven decisions.

Prereqs & Preparation

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.
  • Please have a notebook and pen to jot down your notes.
  • Project/company that you want to focus on during the exercises portion
School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

Refund Policy

If you can't make it to a class/workshop, please email us at [email protected] at least 7 days before the scheduled event date. No refunds will be given after this timeframe.


In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Hi! I’m interested in learning the basics about digital marketing to see if it’s a field I’ll like to go into. I noticed for this course you need to already have a project/company to focus on, and since I don’t have one can I still participate? Or is there another digital marketing class that’s more introductory and covers the basics?

Hi there! As per the instructor, you don't need a company or a project for the Bootcamp class - only the 10-week class. If you don't know if marketing is for you, they definitely have you start with the intro class for a couple of reasons. One, it’s FREE. Two, it covers many of the same topics of the Bootcamp class but on a broader level. If you like the intro class, then you can do the Bootcamp, and if you're all-in after that, the 10-week class.

Hi! I'm looking into booking this class on March 3rd or the "Social Media Monitoring & Analytics" on March 7th. Does this "Digital Marketing Bootcamp" also teach monitoring and analytics? So if I did the bootcamp I wouldn't have to take that class as well?

In the Digital Marketing Bootcamp, it doesn’t go into depth about Social Media Monitoring & Analytics and doesn’t spend too much time on it. The Social Media Monitoring & Analytics class goes much more in depth on this one aspect of digital marketing.

If you are familiar with Digital Marketing, but needs to brush up on just Social Media Monitoring & Analytics, I would suggest taking that class. If you are not familiar with Digital Marketing strategy as a whole, I would suggest taking the boot camp.

According to General Assembly, the bootcamp is generally more beginner level; it gives an overview of different digital marketing channels, helps you establish KPIs, and best practices for each channel without diving deep into specifics. If you're looking for more depth of knowledge in paid social for instance, it's better to take the Facebook ads bootcamp.
