What you'll learn in this scene study class:
We are back in the room for scene study with an inspired group of actors. This class is for those with solid technique experience.
The physical connection in the room is grand! Being in our bodies, while stretching and breathing together in the same space is intimate and vital. We’re on our feet, full-body engaged, experiencing one another in real-time, and utilizing that energy to dive into the work.
We start each class with a guided grounding and/or meditation and exercising Laban's phyiscal efforts.
The work of truth, authenticity, and connection is needed now more than ever. In the room, we ground our energy, look into each other’s eyes, exdercise our phsycial efforts, shed the masks, and live in the truth of the moment. After three-plus decades doing this work, there’s no doubt, the artists are the ones who change the world. This is the heart of the IKC Method.
If you sign up for a month, you will be assigned a partner and a scene by Iris.
