Francesco Marconi

Francesco Marconi is an award-winning strategist focused on growing the organizations -- and the people -- around him. His ideas on media, storytelling and innovation have been read by hundreds of thousands from around the world.

A media innovator, Francesco manages strategy and corporate development at The Associated Press. Raised in Portugal and Italy and influenced by American TV and newspapers, he decided to move to the U.S. by himself at age 21. He took an unpaid internship at the United Nations researching innovation in developing countries. His work there led to a TEDx talk on innovation, the publishing of his first book, and a scholarship to the Missouri School of Journalism. Later, he completed his post-graduate work at Columbia Business School and Harvard University.

Based in New York, Francesco lives with his wife, Rachel, and his pet fish, Sushi.
