Nolan Baumgartner

Teaches at Evanston Art Center

Nolan is the Evanston Art Center Ceramics Studio Coordinator, and he is finishing up his second year of residency at Lillstreet Art Center. He makes both functional and sculptural ceramic forms, primarily out of porcelain. This work is typically fired in a soda-kiln to obscure and enhance the meticulous glaze decoration.
