Description
What you'll learn in this design class:
How do we form an opinion about what we see around us? How do we make decisions that are relevant in the design world? In this course, students discuss, analyze, and discover the principles of design through a comprehensive exploration of successful projects envisioned by artists, architects, theorists, and authors.
This course examines problem solving through the principles of design for a variety of project types, and will include lectures, readings, and individual assignments. Class discussions will explore new aesthetic trends and examine how ideas have evolved to address new issues.
Note: This online course will combine live sessions weekly with independent work time. The Canvas learning management system and Zoom video conferencing platform will be used to access course content and communicate with the instructor and peers.

Refund Policy
FOR ADULTS:
- 100 percent tuition refund one week prior to first class.
- No refunds will be issued less that one week prior to first class.
- 100 percent tuition refund prior to Friday, May 13.
- 100 percent tuition refund less $100 cancellation fee after May 13 and prior to the second class.
- No refunds will be issued after the second class has met.
