This 3-day workshop will provide students with insights and practical ideas for photographing Lake Michigan, while also pursuing an environmental message. The workshop will consist of two seminar sessions and one outdoor, sunrise, in-the-field photography shoot at Lighthouse Beach. The seminars will include presentations by Ted Glasoe and Nelson Armour, learning the fundamentals of photography and a friendly group critique session.
There are endless photographic opportunities with the architecture and city scenes of Chicago. We will visit Chinatown, Millennium Park/Lurie Garden, and North Michigan Avenue to capture the sights of the city.
