Description
I believe that handmade things enhance our lives in so many ways. Since opening my studio gallery, my focus has been to provide the local community with access to finely crafted art pottery as well as a ceramic art studio in which it is made.
My strong interest in handcrafted pottery for use in the kitchen and in entertaining drives the collection. I love the connections between maker and user that deepen over time. I have a firm belief that the transformation of quality materials through skilled craftsmanship and human creativity can enhance our experience in deeply meaningful ways.
My customers are all manner of cooks, gourmets and foodies, as well as collectors and fans of art, creative expression, beauty, surface and color, gardening and nature.
While the studio gallery is a destination for anyone looking for handmade wedding gifts, handmade pottery, ceramic vases and bowls, studio art and unique, one-of-a-kind treasures, I am very happy to see folks stopping by just to say hello and enjoy the latest work. I believe the process of collecting is one to be savored, never rushed and always a good bit of fun.
I encourage people to stop by frequently, and never to feel that they have to buy something. I am very grateful to my customers for their deep appreciation, understanding and support of this wonderful craft, its makers and especially for their contribution to our lively conversation when they visit.
